Classact – is every thing we have hoped for and more. He is so easy to ride in every aspect, very quite, effortless to train and has a familiar attitude when it comes to reading cattle.

His campdrafting career started this season 2008/09, his first run was at Delegate – and he ran an 80, just missing out on the final. The following weekend at Gundagai Giddy Up, was his second start and he ran a 86 in the stallion draft – just missing out on making the final by 1 point.

Gundagai Giddy Up - also held an Open Stockman’s Challenge, which included the following sections:  Hack/Working, Time trial and Campdraft. Classact made the final from a field of 94 competitors and finished up in 5th place.

Classact has campdrafting and polocrosse is in his blood, his sire being the well known “Knights Nicholas” who needs no introduction, as his career has been full of exceptional highlights from a very young age including:

*         ASH Star of the Year” (Age 5yrs)

*         His first Campdraft season was outstanding, he made his debut in Oct 01 – with an amazing tally of 22 gates from 23 runs and at Wellington he won the Maiden & Novice on the same day

*         2002 Narrabri Open Challenge

*         Champion ribbons at Melbourne Sept 02 and Sydney April 03Royals

*         2003 ASH National Championships – “High Point Horse” Title.

Classact’s dam “Chansit Classical” – is a mare that you could ride each and every day. She is exceptionally soft and a pleasure to ride who seems to have an outstanding ability to rate every situation. Weather at work or in a Campdraft from jobs big, small and extremely difficult she seems to complete her tasks with ease. Her Campdrafting ability to date (although very limited) has been extremely consistent and she seems to find her way to the line up at the end of the day.

Born in 2000, broken-in at 18 months – AI to Knights Nicholas at 2 years.

Brought back in 2005/06, in her first season from three drafts, she won Runner up Maiden Horse of the Year - Monaro Branch - SCA.

Her second and third seasons 2006/07 – 2007/08, she did not compete at all due to droving commitments.

2008/09 has proved to be a great season for her, from only nine outings she has continued her consistent ability – winning or placing every weekend and is now an open mare.

She is one for the whole family from her first season she has been ridden by children, including an 8 year old (Lane Clark) for a second in the Juniors.

Classact’s grand - dam (on the dam’s side) “Cambalong Jazz” – has had an exceptional career in both campdrafting and Polocrosse. She is an open mare and won 17 campdrafts and had numerous placings including second in the Ladies at Warwick in 2002.  She has won a number - horse of the year awards and placing’s and help her riders, win or place in the rider of the year titles.

In the polocrosse arena, Jazz is well known for her outstanding ability over the years. She has won numerous horse and rider awards and played at state level for both NSW and SA in both Men’s and Mixed, with Pat French in the saddle.
