Ablelou (Boo) Started campdrafting in 2000 when he was six and has only been lightly campaigned over the years due to droving commitments. He has won 19 campdrafts in total including 3 Novices, 3 Opens and 13 Ladies drafts. He is always extremely consistent giving 110% and along with his wins has had numerous placings. Ablelou is part of the family, he is extremely quite to ride, has a natural ability to read cattle and has been a joy to educate he is a horse that loves being ridden, although he has never needed much work. He is a pleasure to handle in every way, including at stud he is a mate. All these great aspects are breeding on in his progeny they are extremely quite, easily trained and a pleasure to ride most of all very consistent and in the line up at the end of the day.
A memorable moment while competing on Ablelou at Tumut Campdraft in 2001, Matt scored a 90 in each Open Draft run and Chrissie scored a 90 while competing in the Ladies Draft. Three 90s in one day!!
